Het AK105 Aurora-ontwerp is geïnspireerd op het R08-model "Aurora" en legt de essentie van het poollicht vast via een kleurverloop. De basis gaat van boven naar beneden over in vier kleuren, wat symbool staat voor de kosmos, de lucht, het poollicht en de aarde.

Het productieproces uitsplitsen: eerst wordt hemelsblauw gespoten, gevolgd door diepblauw dat de aarde en de kosmos vertegenwoordigt, en ten slotte een groen dat het poollicht vertegenwoordigt.
