Purchase Notes
📦 Purchase Notes
Please read carefully before you place an order. This policy covers signature, installation, returns, and warranty.
📬 Signature & Inspection
- Inspect before signing. If the outer packaging is damaged, or the frame, wheels, drivetrain, or folding parts show dents, scratches, or deformation — take clear photos/videos immediately.
- If you purchased shipping insurance, email evidence to support@xcottons.com to file a claim.
- If you did not purchase insurance, send photos/videos to our customer support: info@savadeck-bike.com.
- Required photos: (1) damaged item with its packing inside the box, (2) close‑up of the damage, (3) packaging material used, (4) shipping label with tracking number.
- After 48 hours: If you failed to inspect upon delivery and later discover scratches, dents, or wear, we cannot treat these as quality issues for return/exchange. However, we may offer paid repair parts if you report within 48 hours of signing.
⚠️ Unopened & unused condition required — Returns/exchanges accepted only if the bike is still in its original carton, unassembled, with all accessories and intact packaging (resaleable condition). Non‑quality return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Minor scratches / paint chips from long‑distance shipping are not considered product defects. Touch‑up pens or stickers can be used. If parts are damaged, we can send replacements.
- Order modifications are possible only before shipment (within 24h for overseas warehouse orders). After dispatch, no changes can be made.
❌ Order Cancellation
- Not yet shipped: Cancel within 24h of placing the order for a full refund. After 24h, a 3% transaction fee applies.
- Already shipped: Cancellation is not possible. In exceptional cases we may attempt interception (not guaranteed). If successful, a $25–$30 interception fee applies. If not intercepted, return shipping (after delivery or refusal) is at your own cost.
🔧 Installation Guidelines
- Your bike comes 90% pre‑assembled. The remaining 10% can be completed using our installation video (tools included).
- After long‑distance shipping, derailleurs and disc brakes may need fine‑tuning. Contact our support if you need help.
- Adjustment issues are not grounds for return. Damage caused by incorrect assembly or mishandling is the buyer’s responsibility. If you are not confident, seek help from a local bike mechanic
- Chain alignment: Check that the chain is seated on the pulley wheels. Pedaling with a derailed chain may damage components.
🔩 Important installation notes
- Quick‑release wheels: Firmly tighten the lever to avoid dangerous detachment while riding.
-
Pedals are side‑specific: L = left, R = right.
- Left pedal: install on the left side of the bike, turn counter‑clockwise to tighten.
- Right pedal: install on the right side, turn clockwise.
- Manually rotate 2 full turns to ensure smooth thread engagement — cross‑threading is not covered by warranty.
- Wheel trueness: Wheels are factory‑trued in 6 steps, but spokes may shift in transit. Minor wobbles are normal; have a mechanic true the wheel. This is not a quality defect.
-
Fork direction: Installing the fork backwards may cause your foot to strike it.
Grease residue: A small amount of grease on the fork is normal (factory lubrication) — simply wipe it off. It is not an oil leak.
↩️ Return Instructions
- Bicycles are bulky items. Non‑quality refusal or return — shipping costs are borne by the customer.
- Packaging: Return the bike in its original carton with all protective materials (contact us for packing guides). Keep the box for at least 14 days after delivery. Damage during return shipping due to insufficient packing is the sender’s responsibility.
- While each bike undergoes strict QC, minor missing parts or adjustment needs do not warrant a full return. We will replace or send the missing parts quickly. Returns for quality issues are evaluated by our after‑sales and technical team.
- Before returning: Contact support with the tracking number, photos of the packed bike and shipping cost. Wait for confirmation before sending.
- If the return is due to product quality issues or an unsuitable size recommended by the seller, the seller will bear the return shipping costs and will provide a return label for the return.
- Return shipping must be prepaid by the customer. We will reimburse you after we receive and inspect the returned bike. COD (cash on delivery) parcels will be refused.
